I don't talk trash; I talk smack. They're totally different. Trash talk is all hypothetical like 'Your Mama's so fat she could eat the internet' but smack talk is happening like right now, like you're ugly and I know it for a fact cause I got the evidence right there. -Kelly Kapoor

I’m trying to say this in the nicest way possible as to avoid offending anyone.

I’m a Democrat.  I could write for days on all of my beliefs that make me a Democrat.  Way back when I used to vote Republican.  I made excuses for why I voted against my beliefs, and one day I realized I couldn’t say “I don’t believe in this or this or this but I still vote Republican” anymore.  I realized there was virtually nothing the GOP and I still agreed with as my beliefs grew.

Tumblr has been filled with a LOT of angry Democrats today.  And a bunch of tumblrs admitting they vote Republican.  However, every Republican I’ve seen on here has said the same thing I used to say.  I’m not this.  I’m not that.  I’m not this either.  But I vote Republican.

I love debating issues or hearing other peoples point of views, so long as they have a reason behind it.  I spent an entire afternoon last weekend discussing with my friend our beliefs on repealing DADT.  He’s in the military, had MANY reasons for why he believed the policy should stick.  Granted I disagreed with everything he said, but he was able to explain WHY he believes what he believes.

No one on here owes me or anyone else an explanation on their beliefs.  I’m not trying to bait anyone into a fight on here.  However I’m throwing this out there.    I truly would enjoy hearing why my Republican tumblr friends vote Republican.  Not what they DON’T believe in.  But what they do.
